Meyer lemon Peel

This is a 5 X 7 oil on board of a Meyer lemon. These little fruit "portraits" have been fun to paint inbetween my portrait commissions. I am sure there will be more to come.

Made some corrections after studying this for a bit. Mostly in her chin. It was a bit too much in last image.

adolescence

adolescence
it has been snowing steadily for the last couple of days which has alowed me lots of time in the studio. This is my son Eric as he was a couple of years ago looking like a tortured adolescent.
